THE BOAT
M/V Brianna Marie is a Young Brothers 38' Flybridge model built in 1983. Designed by Earnest Libby in Beals, Maine, Young Brothers lobster boats are known for their high quality construction while being seaworthy, spacious, and stable. Brianna Marie boasts both outdoor and indoor seating, a head (bathroom), coolers, and sound system.
THE CAPTAIN
Owen grew up lobstering in Boothbay, Maine. He jumped into the yachting world after high school and has been sailing globally for the past 14 years. From running both private and charter yachts in New England and the Caribbean, to racing sailboats across the Atlantic, Pacific, and beyond, he looks forward to sharing an experience in his home waters of Maine!
THE CREW
Brianna was born and raised in Bangor, ME. After attending college, she met Owen and jumped aboard a sailboat with him and never looked back. She served as the first mate, chef and stewardess on private and charter yachts and obtained her USCG captains license. She attended culinary school in France, and has enjoyed being a private chef from Hawaii to Sardinia. As a Boomerang herself, Bri moved back to Maine and attended nursing school in 2020 and currently works as an ICU nurse at Maine Medical Center.
